High School Summer School Registration Begins March 22

Can rising 9th grader take high school summer courses?

I honestly don’t mind having to pay $350 per course, but it seems unconscionable that parents who make less than $39K have to pay $98 (with 4% service fee) for their kids to take a virtual class, especially with it so hard to fit the requirements in.

There are a limited number courses they’re allowed to take, which are listed on that registration page.

If my DD takes a class over again in the summer, can her summer replace her previous grade?

Does anyone know if it’s first come first served? I won’t have access to ParentVue to register until April 2

Synergy will be down tonight.

Was there an announcement I missed about tuition? I don’t remember paying anything like this last summer!

PP: You may have missed the news- McKnight (former Superintendent) payout. They need to make up for that from somewhere. On top of the taxes we already pay to fund public schools. Should be illegal to charge tuition for public education. Sigh.

The Covid-era funding ran out. Before that, they did charge fees.

Anyone know what time tomorrow registration opens?

Are there a limited number of slots if a kid does the central/virtual option? Mine wants to do health both semesters - do I need to log in at a specific time to get a spot for her?

I've read through the registration instructions online but they are either presuming prior experience with ParentVue or wildly overestimating its user friendliness, lol. Do I do this under Course Request? Will it be self explanatory once I log in? Thx!
