Might not be exciting, but Hamilton campus is great and you won’t get attacked on or off campus!

Is that true? Is College Park really unsafe? DC loved it. Now I am worried.

Not unsafe during daytime, but there are often crime incidents at night (most not involving students). I went there, and there are frequent campus alerts about crime incidents in the community. It’s fine as long as students are smart about it (don’t walk around alone late at night).

Yeah, Iowa City is great. Doesn’t belong on this list.

ND/South Bend

Gorgeous campus and the town has improved slightly, but still lacking. Amazing that despite this, school continues to be a desireable T20.

Surely you meant to write out the full "El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de los Ángeles."

College Park is like any campus in/near a depressed area after dark.

Situational awareness is key, as well as avoiding going outside after dark. And being smart about things like never running alone. Also be aware carjackings in/near College Park are on the rise.

Seeing this, it proves that if you like cities, Boston is the city to go.

Your understanding of the definition of the word "prove" is . . . tenuous, let's say.

For the criminally stupid among us (and there's a shockingly large percentage, apparently), "college town" =/= "any city where there happens to be a college."
