UCB - any early Berkeley admits?

This scholarship was created to encourage those students who would have attended HYPSM to attend Berkeley instead by offering this scholarship, choice/guaranteed housing & selection, course registration ahead of all other students, interesting research opportunities, separate mentor (professor) etc.

I think you’re missing the point. The UC system exists to provide a public benefit to Californians, not to maximize its own prestige.

I think you’re missing the point. The UC system exists to provide a public benefit to Californians, not to maximize its own prestige.

They have dozens of Cal States in addition to UCs for that.
