"Since Berkeley does not offer an early decision program, most Berkeley decisions come out at the same time in March. In 2022 the Berkeley decisions came out on March 24th, which is typical of Berkeley's admissions timeline. In the future, students can expect regular Berkeley decisions to come out at the end of March."

I assure you, it’s not BS. Read a bit more before you lash out. Some admissions were released at UCB yesterday.

Quoting is not lashing. Calm yourself.

No early application? I don't think that's right. I thought the UC applications are handled in the order in which they are received and decisions are rolling? Or am I wrong?

They are not rolling. Applications are accepted from the start of Oct to the end of November only.

Californians need to bring it down a notch. Gone are the days when they had much to be proud of. You’re just another f’d up state now.

Cool story, bro. Wake me up when their 5th largest economy in the world isn’t producing phlegm that’s more productive than whatever you produce in your debtor state. In the meantime, no need to lash out at 72 and sunny.

Anonymous wrote:Wow are the early admits all exceptional kids? My son applied to UCB but he is definitely not scholarship material, should I tell him to check his portal?

I think it is roughly the top 1-2 percent of applicants who get notified early (February).

LOL

*Different CA poster here who thinks we don't need to argue over some early UC Berkeley admits, who also enjoyed the weather here today.

Congrats to all of the admits!

Congrats! What were the stats?

Anonymous wrote:Also this- DC can go in early March for scholarship interviews…
… a small number of students will receive notification of their decision in February. Most of these students will be nominees for Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholarships, a process that has traditionally been initiated during this time of year … majority of first-year applicants still will receive their decisions at the end of March, via the MAP@Berkeley portal.

Congrats! Wow, what were their stats? Public or private school?
