How old were you when you found your first gray hair?

I noticed one wiry white hair sticking out of my part on my 30th birthday.

I am 44 now and have about 15 on my head.

I was 27 but then didn’t see another for quite awhile. At 38 I only have a few grey hairs here and there that are barely noticeable

I find these posts about plucking your greys out very bizarre why not just leave them alone especially if there are only a few?

I’m 46 and none yet. My hair is pretty dark but I color it blonde and my stylist always says I wouldn’t have to come as often if I had a little gray instead of my very dark roots.

25. The day I got back from my honeymoon. I guess wedding planning was so stressful I did it to myself.

Yeah, I shed a lot of hair and find them only when they come out naturally. Would never hunt and pluck.

17. Plucked until 28, then had to color.

My daughter kindly pointed out my first gray. I was 40 and chose not to believe her. Then she helpfully snapped a photo and circled the gray for me. I still choose to believe it’s an extra extra blonde hair.

I'm like my Mom - my hair has gotten darker as I've aged (blonde to now dark brown). At 76 she has very few grays. I don't have any yet at 40.
