Not only that, Holton sent out an email to all parents to clarify. The contract references the "values" and DEI is in there.

Judge based on actions not words anyway. If you're a parent there, you've seen their commitment (or not) to DEI. Look at that, not some words in a contract.

I suggest you request to speak with persons at Holton direction. The Holton contract incorporates the handbook by reference. The handbook has a long section on DEI. I did not compare it with last year’s, but I understand that there were no changes in the DEI handbook section. I do not work for nor advise Holton, but it’s very possible taking out DEI was to shorten the contract since DEI is in the handbook. If you have concerns about the direction Holton is going, you should reach out to the division head. I have been at Holton a long time, and I have found most people to be receptive to answering questions and hearing feedback. But I would not pull your kid over an omission on a contract. It’s still in the handbook.

PP here “directly” not “direction”

Not sure about the patrol part, but you are the idiot.

Holton asks its white students to attend its “Racial Justice Learning Center for White Students” at lunch. (Everyone else is invited to their respective affinity group at that time)

Are people seriously questioning whether Holton is all-in on anti-racism?

Obviously someone being a smart you-know-what.
Oakcrest does not belong in this discussion and anyone in the know knows that. Saying this to save people who don’t know time.

The sad part is I can’t tell if this is a joke.

HA parent here. It’s very real. The school is proud of it. Ask admissions or anyone in leadership. It is part of their “white privilege” learning curriculum.

Holton also has a parent group called “Racial Justice Learning Space for White Families”
