I found DCUM when looking for advice on dealing with my super colicky newborn. Now I frequent the College and University forum as she’s going to college soon. |
| 1968...can't remember when I started reading. Maybe 15 years ago. Kids are out of college now. DD admitted her friend group occasionally enjoyed reading and posting on threads relating to her magnet HS (which comes up regularly) |
| 1977. Have been on DCUM around 10 years. DS is graduating this year but I use this site more for other boards and less for parenting. |
1970. But been on it since 2005 when I had a newborn or was looking for info on all things local for infants, then toddlers, good parks, preschool, then sports, housing, high school and college… |
| 1974 been on it since 2003 when I was pregnant with my 1st. |
| 1988 — came for daycare recommendations and pregnancy worries. Have stayed through TTC my second, job hunt, etc. Currently staying for book club and marvelling at “rich people’s lives are weird.” (I’m not even slightly poor only DCUM poor 😂) |
I'm Gen-X, but emotionally stunted at 14. |
| 1972 here |
Same |
| 1985 |
| I was born in 1989. |
| I teach at a school often mention on DCUM and have witnessed students posting on here, so 2008 has got to be a front runner for most recent birth year posting. |
| 1974. I’ve been on this site for about 18 years ever since I was pregnant! Agree with the previous poster a while back that said that if Jeff was doing the summaries, you would’ve seen a lot more 15 to 20 years ago about the littlest of kids! Now it’s all about applying to college. Gen X rules! |
| 1967 and on DCUM since my first was an infant. There were a few years there when some of the conversations started to stress me out, so I stopped coming around. But it's still a great place to get information and advice. And it can be a very supportive community. |
pffft. Mid 60s here. Been here not quite forever but feels like it. |
