Neighbor feeding squirrels

DP, we have a neighbor who feeds the foxes and we have very few squirrels.

How can you feed foxes?

No. It’s squirrels. Get an ultrasonic pest deterrent. Our neighbor has one and never has so much as a bird in her yard.

That’s the saddest thing I’ve read here in a long time.

You sound kind of squirrely yourself. Feeding them won't make them breed more. They just get fat and lazy. They are quite capable of getting all the food they need from nature. Feeding them, like feeding hummingbirds is just cheap entertainment.

PP here. The cats are her "babies," and we never complain. I can assure you though that it's a problem because she leaves bowls of cat food around here home. They attract roaches and other creatures.

Yes, I had a rat. I wanted to move or burn down the house. I still think it’s sad to never have so much as a bird in your yard.

And I say this as someone who also deals with rats and mice.

The only poison given, should be to PPs who buy homes that used tp be squirrel/rat/mice natural environment, and now think it would be acceptable to put poison out for ANY creature to come and consume/eat poisoned creature and then also be poisoned.
