How to get a good counselor recommendation

My kid has about 300 kids per grade she counsels. That's 1200 kids.

Nope this year. My kids school was even bigger. 500 a grade but there is more than one counselor. There is time. You just need to find it or make excuses why your kid can’t do it.

No idea if he just passed along the whole letter or wrote his own, but at least he had lots of content to work with.

I respect any school that doesn’t require a LOR. UC’s and VT…I applaud them. They are a time suck for teachers and now AI? How pointless.

If my child is one of the few kids on financial aid at a top private school, should the college counselor mention it in their recommendation letter? How is it usually worded (or how *should* it be worded)?

Does this piece of info make any difference?
