Neverfull - cheesy/ suburban or classic?

LV canvas bags are boring. I only carry a red empriente zippy that is over 20 years old now. Most of the time that's all I need to leave the house. It can hold a passport, euros/dollars, a pen, my cards and even my iphone.

Basic. That being said, I owned one years ago and it was the best bag I’ve ever used. I would pay $$$$ if they made them with the same materials but solid or unrecognizable patterns. I owned a Neverfull in Epi, but the leather wore out- it’s not as indestructible as the OG.

Everyone copies the Neverfull and knocks it as basic but let me tell you, it’s durable and functional. I’ve used mine for years overloaded, and it looks brand new. My Goyard hasn’t held up as well.

I like the MM for a basic computer bag that looks nice at the office, holds my laptop and some files. I have the DE print and like it. I don’t like the way the light leather trim darkens over time on the monogram version.

So WDYD when you need a tote like that? I don't have a NVRFULL but a leather tote was very helpful when I was toggling between a Hill meeting and kids.

FWIW, have been considering the Goyard PM in the black trim for awhile. I don't like it in tan trim, but the black works for me.

Just FYI, I bought the St. Louis PM last year and go back and forth on whether I should have gotten the GM instead. Have you seen them both in person? I'm 5'4" which ultimately swayed me to the PM, but if I were taller I probably would have gone with the GM. I don't own a Neverfull but I think the GM is probably more comparable in size.

It’s fine. But like other things, depends on your overall look. most anyone can make anything seem cheesy, suburban, or classy.

If you want something edgier --Valentino Garavani, YSL, Mansur Gavril, Louboutin, there are lots of black tote options.

I agree but they aren’t as tough as the neverfull

Classic and indestructible. I have my mom's keepall 45 that I use for travel and it looks like new, despite being used a ton.
