You don't save a return. |
But, why? Why do you care? |
WHY are you wasting time “researching “ this kind of information? |
Because it’s fun when people act a certain way in school/social settings and then you find out they are putting on pretenses. |
| The only thing I care about is how well their children are behaved. You're nuts |
People who don’t disclose the details of their financial situation to you are not putting on pretenses, they are exercising good judgment. They are correctly assessing that you are not a person worth getting to know or sharing any personal information. |
I really don’t know what you mean, do you think that your casual children’s school acquaintances need to tell you all of their personal financial information as well as that of their extended family? Why is this fun for you and why do you care? When I mention we are going on a nice family vacation this year do I need to also share that I got an unexpected bonus to fund this since they have a need to know? |
I imagine you act a certain way in school/social settings - like a normal, friendly person - but it’s a pretense for finding out personal information you can use to stalk other families. That you are actually deeply insecure and not a little odd. You mean like that? |
Wow! What kind of a crazy person are you? Who would take time to do this? Are you so obsessed with keeping up with the Jones you stalk ppl online to verify if they are the “real deal”. Pathetic |
What "type of thing" are you talking about? My DH goes to VISI and there are many moms with "accomplished" jobs and as far as I know people who can pay for their own children's HS as well as those with financial aid etc.. Why would any of this matter v.s the question of whether OP can get aid to cover what she is comfortable spending and what the school is like for the kids |
You both sound insane. There are friendly people who are genuine, and there are fake, paranoid people that are quiet. |
You haven’t read the thread, have you? |
Some people put their tax return in savings. Other people spend it, sometimes on things like school tuition. |
|
I got a job at the high school and now my children (3 boys) have a discounted tuition rate. It’s about the same as our k-8 after staff discount and sibling discount.
I was an adjunct math professor at Mason (and didn’t make much there) and transferred my skill set to a local well know catholic school. I teach AP calculus and stats. |
Umm, let's figure out why your DH "goes to Visi" - why is a grown man attending an all girls high school? People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. |
