drop off party - 2nd grade

+1. I have three kids and the youngest is in 2nd grade. By K most parties were drop off but they still specified that in the invitation and didn’t assume that it was a drop off. By 1st/2nd, parties were pretty much all drop off or drop off is okay but some parents might want to stay to chat. I would assume drop off for a 2nd grade party and I think it’s odd that the hosts were annoyed.
