Captains chairs in a suburban makes sense. Not so much in the mid-sized SUV.

I've had two Honda minivans and have absolutely loved them. I went to buy a third and I will no longer fit in my garage width-wise. I'm pretty sure I am going to get the MDX but it will be an adjustment down in size. Hopefully it will be okay.

+1. tesla x, 6 seater. 2 kids, a dog, and lots of carpools. We charge it off solar panels at home, and free chargers at work.

I blame it on being young

Honda Odyssey. Two kids - 15 and 10. Mine is 9 years old/100,000 miles and no problems with it. It's been great for carpooling, road trips, carting kids plus a couple of bikes, and being able to drive everyone when family visits. Drives well enough in Midwestern winters. Not sure what car will be next for me, but the practicality of a minivan is hard to beat.
