Why should she apologize for something that happened when she wasn’t superintendent? |
More details about the pedophile have emerged. She's apparently currently a teacher at a charter school in PG county, and she had sex with the male student on school grounds and she plied him with marijuana and alcohol: https://moco360.media/2023/11/08/former-mcps-teacher-who-allegedly-sexually-abused-student-now-teaches-at-private-school/

5 thousand dollar bond for corrupting a young person with drugs and sex at school.
The problem in this county is the Judges. There's no way around d that fact. |
$50,000 bond Do not use 360 as a source. |
| A bond is not a penalty. It's risk assessment vs. possibility of flight or additional harm. |
That's not how pedophiles think. |

An email from the Principal:
Dear MVMS Community, Staff, and Families, Today, an article was published that included information about a former MCPS teacher, who was arrested today, following accusations of sexual abuse of a student during their employment at Montgomery Village. I’m sharing this information with our community because I want to be clear that the accused teacher is NOT a current member of our staff and was last employed here over eight years ago. Although this teacher is not a current employee, any news about the abuse of students is upsetting. As always, we will offer support to any student or staff member impacted by this information. |
Wow. What an attempt to deflect that the sexual abuse occurred inside the school! Parents should be concerned because MCPS doesn’t keep children safe while they are at school. Nothing has changed in 8 years that would prevent teachers from being alone in classrooms, hence have the access they need to groom and sexually abuse children. |
The same principal also sent out a strange email and text to parents about an art teacher who is no longer employed by MCPS. Really bizarre. Still waiting on something to come out about the male art teacher. |
Article says 30 years |
Do you have a reading problem? all but 12 months suspended means the entire 30 year sentence is suspended. She is only serving one year. |
And her attorney was a former judge who resigned in disgrace after an ongoing affair with a criminal defendant (and her former client) decades her junior came to light. Birds of a feather….. |
What’s the purpose of sentencing for 30 years only to suspend all but one year? |
If they reoffend, the suspension can be canceled |
