Bryce - Do you assume girl or boy? Do you like this name? Do you know a Bryce? Age and sex or gender?

Definitely male name.

Middle school teacher here. I have two students named Bryce this year. Both boys. It’s not common but not uncommon either. Not my style name, but I’ve heard worse.

Brett for a girl?? That’s a super masculine name.

There's a Hemingway female character named Brett.

Thanks PPs! Op here. AA local Washingtonian, late 30s, though not into sports so I was not familiar with Bryce Harper. Also, I am not the Blake OP, I actually dislike the name Blake. 😆

When I think of one named Bryce I think of an intense, talented, strong and precocious person who, alas, doesn't ultimately come through when you actually need them to.

Boy. Awful name. And don't even think of Bryson. That's equally as bad.

I’m know a 50 year old male Bryce. I always struggle with his name (he has a last name that can be a first name that in my head should just BE his first name; I know otter people who know him have the same problem). For me, the name just doesn’t fit the burly old scientist this guy is.

My next door neighbor’s 10 year old son is a Bryce. Very nice/good kid.

I assume boy.

I know two 15 year olds, one in DMV, one in my midwest hometown.

Do you know a Bryce? Age and Sex/Gender?

Boy. But I like it for a girl, too.

How ever male names given to girls is becoming more common: Rian, Blake, Charlie, Freddie, Bellamy, etc.

Here are some gender neutral names. Follow her for name Inspo:

Bellamy is not a first name.
