| Wow, that New Trier place sounds awful. I thought my high school was bad but while it was wealthy, I didn't find people to be particularly mean (that ended in junior high). Of course, I graduated 20 years ago so maybe things have changed. |

| I went to high school in the late 90s in New England and it. was. awful. The popular girls snubbed me in ways that hurt me more than it should have. It was more of a ignore mechanism. The popular boys made fun of everyone. Cruel, vicious taunting. Once, one of the very popular boys (footballer) put a very nerdy fat girl in the trash can. So glas hs is OVER. |
