Why can't you wash a plate in the sink? It has to do with your laziness, not class. |
We don’t use paper plates except on isolated rare occasions (I do keep paper plates on hand if someone is really sick, or occasionally for pizza night or similar) I think it’s much nicer to eat on real dishes, but how on earth do you go 2-3 days between running the dishwasher with a family of 4? We run ours once a day and sometimes twice. I’m not criticizing, just genuinely wondering what model you have and if it fits a ton of stuff. |

OP here. Sorry to abandon the thread. Yes, as one PP said I’ve been watching Sister Wives and it was so dull that I got fixated on the paper plates. And then I thought of the Duggars and a bunch of other reality people who love their paper plates.
I only noticed because we use them for the pool and ran out recently before hosting friends. The other family didn’t have any at home, either, so we ate off napkins. On TLC reality shows the paper plates are really noticeable if you’ve recently run out of them. |
We do that as well. It helps to cut down on overall dishes though. |
| I never thought to use them on a daily basis, even when I didn't have a dishwasher. Occasionally for casual company, like a bbq. And we keep a stash just in case. But I think I've had the same stash since we moved into this house - about 6 years. |
do you have a working sink? |
