Why did you think that would be a topic of conversation?

She gets a hefty payout, both go on with their lives. Wherever they want and with whomever they want. This has been in the works. They sold their NYC property not that long ago.

I had no idea they sold. He was always getting papped walking the streets like a regular New Yorker.

Definitely a glaring warning sign. One of them wants to go back to Australia.

That's right, I read that article months ago. I think he was the one who wanted to move back to Australia.

On their 27th wedding anniversary in April, the Greatest Showman star posted a loving nod to Deb, 67, and their bond on Instagram, sharing in part, "I love you so much. Together we have created a beautiful family. And life. Your laughter, your spirit, generosity, humor, cheekiness, courage and loyalty is an incredible gift to me."

Those undying love-professing social media posts are the last gasp of a dying relationship.

They were very good friends and that probably hasn't changed. The sentiments were true.

Why post that if your relationship is on the rocks? You can still communicate that in private.

Because their relationship was always a friendship not romantic, and they did build a beautiful family together etc.

It was definitely romantic. Even romantic relationships can peter out over three decades. Curious to see who he picks next.

Ryan Reynolds

Talk about someone with cloying lovey dovey social media posts about his wife. Barf.

There's no way that was ever romantic.

Their youngest is just 18 now. So it was probably the earliest they wanted to do anything.

I was stuck in traffic next to him on the henry hudson parkway a few years ago. He was driving a porsche. His face was so strikingly chiseled. Sometimes when you see actors in real life they look meh. He was the opposite. Like a model, he was freakishly good-looking.

I am so sad about this divorce, but hope they remain best friends.

You really think it was romantic?

Definitely.

Always a friendship vibe, never one iota of a romantic vibe. An arrangement that worked very well for them in terms of his PR and their mutual desire for kids.

Who is next. Pierce Brosnan?

I liked that they beat down the “he is so hot why is he with her” criticism for so long

Pierce Brosnan’s wife was freakin hot, though. She just got fat after kids. The Jackmans didn’t really make sense in the same way…

Even now, the Brosnans relay heat and romance. Never any of that with the Jackmans.

Actually they sold the huge place (11K+ SQF) and bought a much smaller penthouse (4Kish SQF). Part of the property settlement, no doubt.

All carefully calibrated, even the timing of the ending.

My thoughts exactly. Legal adult, no custody fights. They've been waiting for this.

And perhaps one of them does want to move back to Australia but wouldn’t do that until their youngest graduates HS.
