S/o: What can American men learn from foreign men?

Let in foreign women but keep out the foreign men! The only foreign men who we let in should be PhD STEM degree holders with extensive background investigations done prior.

Because the drinking age is 16 or 18 in most countries, people learn that having a glass of wine with dinner or a beer at a gathering somewhere is just normal. There isn’t a culture of frat bros getting s-faced drunk at parties at universities.

That’s complete nonsense. Binge drinking is a huge problem in European countries, for example. UK, France, Spain, Russia. This might be true for Islamic countries.

French person here. Not France. Kids learn to drink responsibly at the family dinner table. It's not forbidden fruit. Can't say for other countries.

This simply isn't true. This entire thread is full of delusional stereotypes built in nothing but propaganda.

I disagree with the attractiveness( I think foreign men tend to be more attractive), but I 100% agree with personality.

In my limited experience American men are more likely to be an equal partner at home.

As much as I bond easily with foreign women due to our similar sense of humor, I appreciate American women for setting their men straight. They have made life much easier for some of us who married American men.

The world is quite a big place. Conservative countries tend to have men who don't help at home. Non conservative countries like Scandinavian countries have a lot of men who do take care of the kids and home. They get like one year paternity leave, and their men take it to take care of the kids.

They might take l care during their one tear leave. That does not necessarily translate to them taking care when both spouses are working.

This is true and what is often left out of these discussions is how there's still a societal expectation that women mommy track their careers.

So as a circ'd guy, I'm supposed to learn from foreign men to get it re-attached?

Don’t worry, my foreign-born husband (Muslim world) is cut, as was my Western European born boyfriend before him. It’s not as globally unusual as the anti folks pretend.

This is really interesting

It seems American women are not has highly rated vs foreign women

Whereas American men are rated higher than foreign men

Yet everywhere on this forum and in the media we hear about “male crisis”

What gives?

It seems to me the market value of American men is underrated from the responses of the two threads and American women are overvalued in the market

It's perfectly consistent. American women are only talking about American men that they will even deign to give the time of day. It's the men that aren't even on their radars that are in crisis.

How to please a partner sexually and how to dress better - at least the ones from Europe. Can't speak for other cultures.

There is still be a "male crisis." American men are just ahead of the curve.

It's like almost everyone failing an exam but some failing with better scores than others.

Men in general are still too self-centered. There is much progress made by American men compared to men elsewhere. But most men still have ways to go.

With increased globalization and intercultural interactions, foreign women will catch on to American men needing to still do better. The bubble is about to burst so American men better hurry up and get some foreign women while they still can.

And in the meantime, some women would have to make do with foreign men, but foreign men too are catching up to their American counterparts.

So everything the American woman likes and prefers should be the global point of reference and yet it is the men who are too self-centered? Got it.

As someone who has dated multiple foreign men I find this take baffling. Foreign men absolutely value American women highly. I was never hurting for dates in Western Europe but then married a Middle Eastern man.

There certainly is a contingent of “passport bros” who can’t date high quality American women and try to do better with foreign women but that really doesn’t say anything about the desirability of American women. If anything it’s the opposite (they struggle to date American women so they go abroad).

Is this why expat women complain all the time and hate local women? Wake up.

I know enough people in the foreign service to know better.

It's disgusting how the US military cowards keeps bullying, raping Hispanic women. Someday there will be justice
