| I think it would be very hard to serve a low-income population unless a school was located in that neighborhood, in a location that was walkable for the students. I understand the sentiment behind the comments, but it’s not just a matter of providing the financial aid. I wish it were that easy, though, because I think there are schools that would happily enroll these students. |

Not true. Look at Deal and J-R just down the street from GDS, Sidwell, and the Cathedral Schools. Kids take public transportation across town every day. |

| The economic diversity of DC’s private schools is a function of their financial aid budgets. Most/all of these schools would enroll more lower income kids if they could afford it. But that is really expensive and the money has to come from somewhere. |

| Don't forget neurodiverse students- schools are very clear they aren't welcome. Diversity that looks great on a website picture is as deep as they want to go |
