Not everyone living in NoVA thinks like you, OP. There are plenty of us who are proud of our vote for Youngkin and happy with the policies coming out of Richmond.

Even with Nova votes, Virginia has a republican governor, ag, and lt governor. Subtract those blue votes and Virginia would be very red

The reason nova is doing well is because of the pro business policies of Richmond

I agree with this.

I used to be pro nova statehood. But now we’d be as bad as DC or MD.

I think most of the people complaining about Virginia politics on this thread are recent DC and MD transplants trying to make NoVa into what they left behind — just like CA transplants who are trying to screw up Colorado and parts of Texas.
