Where did you find this information?

By searching team names from the results of last year's meet. Only 11 more divisions to go if you have some free time. Haha

Meet results are here: https://www.mynvsl.com/documents?folder_id=35706

Aren’t those yard pools? It would suck for kids trying for meter records.

They can reconfigure for yards or meters. Though I've never personally seen them do short course meters.

Just wait. Also, are your team areas on black top? That makes a difference.

The black top really isn’t that big of deal. You have the team tents and rugs. I like that it is right next to the pool and is a 1 min walk. I much prefer that to a 10 min walk through the woods.

They could do it but NVSL rules won’t allow it. Must be an outdoor pool, no blocks.

I don't recall anything in the rules mandating All-Stars be held outdoors. Starting blocks are removable.

Here's the direct quote from the rulebook.

"18. CHAMPIONSHIP MEET LOCATIONS a. Relay Carnivals, Divisionals, and All-Star Meets shall be held in 25-meter pools. b. These meets shall be held only in pools which have at least six lanes, each a minimum of five feet in width. Lanes shall be free of obstructions such as ladders or steps and should have proper lane and bulkhead (wall) markings."

The meet would be faster too. You could run 2 heats of 9 vs. 3 heats of 6 in every event.

How would they reconfigure the pool for 25meter?

I think they would move the bulkhead

It was hot last year. My poor kid was in the first and last event at all stars last year. And Divisionals were beastly last year, too.

They should volunteer to host All-Stars too.
