Bottom line who do you see being sworn in as president in 2024?

I was hoping for either Destantis (looks unlikely now) or Tim Scott (maybe VP) to whoever gets it?

No. Biden prevails and by a wide margin. No one with a functioning brain wants trump and his grifter family and corrupt cronies back in the White House. Independents aren't going to vote for Trump and educated women won't vote for him.

Trump is going to be a convicted felon by. 2024 and in order to avoid prison he will be offered a deal to admit that he lied about election being stolen and he finally admits lying. He will also agree to fade away and no more social.media, rallies, and he will never run for public office of any kind for the remainder his life. If he goes back on any of these he will then be sentenced to ,life in prison.

Biden.

Unfortunately. I'd have preferred a younger Democrat.

He is the incumbent, he has run a very good administration and barring some self-inflicted economic collapse, he should win.

Ha you made me spit out my morning coffee. the most inept, corrupt pathetic corpse of a president ever to sit in the White House. Only thing worse would be Kamala.

The "only thing worse than Biden" category includes every single Republican.

Preach!

Strong dem here. But honestly. The fact that he was once married to what’s her name really makes me think you might be right.

I hope you get him on these new charges, because I can’t take any more of Adam Schiff.

He is an obnoxious, selfish, deviant , narcissistic, that just got a lot of money from his real estate developer obnoxious dad. Do better GOP.

The moms of American do not want to deal with this overgrown toddler ever again. Can't you just put him back in TV or something and get your full of them from there? Call it "the VP" instead of "the apprentice" and he can send people off to the gallows if they disappoint him.

Biden defeated Trump in 2020. Since then, we've had Trump's brazen election denial, the assault on Congress on Jan 6, and multiple indictments against Trump. The economy has steadily improved since 2020, and we have no troops at war. So I think Biden would win by an even bigger margin in 2024.

But yes, I am concerned. The 2020 election was fairly close, and the current electorate has a nihilistic strain.

There was no fabrication. Even Barr said it was all true and did everything in his power to cover up for his boss.

I'm a Biden supporter but I'd be concerned if the republicans picked Scott as their nominee. I don't think any of the other republicans have a shot in the general election. And I do think Scott has a very good shot-- I anticipate a strong finish for him in Iowa.

Can you imagine Trump or Biden on a debate stage against a savvy and sharp person in their political prime years like a Tim Scott or Gretchen Whitmer? To see Trump and Biden try to hang in a debate against real candidates would be an eye opener for all to see just how misguided we have become if nominating Trump and Biden again in 2024. It's scary.

Scott doesn’t have a nuclear family

This isn’t Europe

I agree, these two on a debate stage against more mentally fit challengers would be scary and kinda funny too.

The problem with Scott is that he refuses to go after Trump directly. He won't even blame him for Jan 6..."I can only hold responsible the very people who threatened my life and the former president did not threaten my life." He's counting on some combination of Christie, a desperate DeSantis and the legal system to do his dirty work for him so he can pick up the MAGA voters. That won't work - if Scott has any hope of winning the nomination he needs to consolidate the anti-Trump voters before it's too late.

How does an anti-choice like Scott win in swing states? The mid terms showed this to be a critical issue for voters and it has only gotten worse. The GOP just if ignores this for some reason but that does not make it go away. Even Ohio had a big reaction to overturning roe and will put reporductive rights on the ballot, directly to the voters with hundreds of thousands more supportive signatures.than were required.
