I saw Vejas everywhere in Paris this year. |
I hate my Vejas. They took way too long to break in. |
These are horrible shoes. They are meant to be cheap, low quality throwaway shoes and they're terrible for your feet. |
|
I’m in France right now. Paris has two main footwear for women— people on vacation are wearing flat sandals but not flip flops. Birkenstocks are everywhere as are flat buckled sandals. Many different brands. Surprisingly I saw this on many French women when they were on their lunch breaks.
Second was sneakers. Air forces and adidas abound as did vejas. |
Coming in to say this. Vejas and birks. |

Sketchers? How did my mom find this thread? |
| I wear a lot of casual sneakers and the ones I reach for for travel with lots of walking are my Veja Campos and my Nike AF1. Both were very easy to break in for me and comfy enough for all day walking. |

We just spent two weeks walking 10 plus mile days around Europe. I was pretty fashionably ok and comfortable alternating between Arizona style and thong style birks and my white Stan smiths.
We weren’t in the super heat wavy parts, though, where I think I would have wanted socks every day. |
| I wore my Golden Goose Pure Stars daily while traveling for 10 days and my feet were very comfortable. I also really like Brooks sneakers for comfort. |

Asics. Many styles and colors to choose from, some are expensive, some are mid-range.
They are among the best shoes for running and walking, provide good arch support and cushioning for the foot, come in wide sizes if you need that, and are very comfortable as well as nice looking. |

I wore my Allbirds all over Paris, walking 8-10 miles a day. They were great.
