Did you indulge? Did you eat a lot? |
Uh, no, eat like a normal person. Do not starve yourself all day. |
Or just don’t eat the whole time. Guys did it in high school all the time. It was no big deal. Seriously, WTF? 😳 |
There are some good tips here ... I opened the thread because I need to drop about 5 pounds in a SANE way.
I would say, any day that you're not actively working out, add a 30-minute walk. And don't drink your calories. Have fun! |
Oh those were the days! Family vacations with my hangry short tempered mom and my hungover dad. Guess who else didn’t get to eat til 4 pm? That’s right! The children! Your kids will have some special memories for sure! |
So eat normally, don't over indulge, no desserts, no booze. If you have a gigantic plate of food put in front of you, don't think you need to eat all of it, just maybe half or one third of it. Eat more slowly and stop when you know you should stop.
If you've lost weight then I would try to keep as closely to how you eat now, despite being away. It's going to be about choices - get the salad but avoid the bacon and cheese and the thick creamy dressing, etc. |
We sailed with them in February 2023 and were surprised and disappointed at how the food had gone downhill since the previous cruise in 2019. |
What a bummer; I’m about to go on a cruise with them. I don’t even like cruises, but I was looking forward to the food. |
Ask for a larger portion of salad and vegetable side dishes-fill up on veggies and soup. Get the salad dressing on the side-and same for any sauces on your main course! You can drizzle it on for flavor. Have a few bites of dessert and a glass of wine so you don't feel like you are missing out. |
