Not true. Depends upon the amount of melanin you have.

You mean like uneven skin/hyperpigmentation spots? True, those people benefit the most from at least a tinted moisturizer.

How about this- you do you and let other do them. Why try to fit in? If you are comfortable with make-up, then put it on! If your not, its really not a big deal!

Not with a face like yours.
How do you know what they look like? Is that a joke?

Dear Lord! I cannot with this! Who cares? Make-up, no make-up! I just hope your kids eat breakfast in the morning. I taught at an expensive DC independent school for years. Too many kids would show up hungry, with dirty-messy hair and without jackets in the winter. However, some of their moms looked like fashion models!

Of course you should! One should never leave the home without their face on. People will judge you if you are not pulled together. What if someone approaches the car or you have to go into the building because your DD left something behind. Do you want to embarrass your child?

And no, I am not being facetious. I am 100% serious. Make yourself presentable or hire a bus service to ferry your child. Don't be that mom.

These are the types of questions that run through your mind and you feel the need to crowd source answers to?

It seems like we have a surplus of these unbelievably stupid posts. Why bother to troll post something so stupid and yet...

I am 47 and have worn makeup maybe 50 times in my entire life on special occasions. I have had kids in independent schools for almost 20 years now and have never worn make up to drop off, pick up, watch a game, etc.

Seriously. Same.

My mom also has worn makeup maybe twice in her life. She managed to get my sister and me through Horace Mann, Hackley, and Andover without makeup on.

Yes, wear make-up. It’s amazing to me how sloppy society has gotten. Wear make-up. Don’t wear pajamas. Wear a bra. Get it together, people. Sheesh!

Only wear your makeup if you plan to see someone you are trying to impress with your appearance and you know they will get close enough to you to notice what's on your face.

The last time I wore makeup was in 2001, I was going to a funeral and had a nasty scrape on my face from a roller blading accident that I wanted to try to cover up.

Also, I never drove my kids to school unless they had a dentist appointment or something similar. They are both grown now.

Get it together
