| DC is starting at a new private school that is 45 minutes farther so I have less time in the morning. Can I skip putting on make-up or is that a mistake? |
| Most women don't need make-up. They look as good as they will ever be au naturel. Make-up tends to highlight the fact that there's something to hide in the first place... |
| I rarely wear a bra. It's drop-off. |
| Skip! Don’t worry about it, OP. |
Not true. Depends upon the amount of melanin you have. |
This is not true. But OP, just do what you want. |
| I don’t even have to get out of the car. No one sees me at drop off. |
|
Wear what you want.
And if it's car drop off, extra wear-what-you-want, since no one will even see you. |
| This post better have been written by the lady who wanted to know what to wear to the Beauvoir cocktail reception. |
| HOS stands put and chats to all the parents. If you're OK with that then, make up free! |
Ours doesn't. He just opens doors. No time to chat. |
| I dont get out of the car and DC is in high school so there is no administrator in the HS drop off area. Hence, I see no one. Hence, I don't wear make up. |
Maybe it wouldn't drop off if you wore a bra |
| This is a serious question? |
For most women devoid of an actual skin condition, it really does not matter, because make-up or no make-up, people see the figure, the hair, facial features, posture, attitude... and those create so much more of an impression than whether you have a slightly more dewy look, or whether your pores are slightly obscured, or whether your eyelashes are darker, or whatever else you think you're doing with your make-up. No one's looking that closely at your face! It's not saving the rest of you. Apologies if I offend, but it's the truth. I hope it's liberating to hear, because you really shouldn't be that dependent on chemicals you slap on your face every day. |
