They should not accept this many kids from one school. They need to diversify the freshman class to avoid cliquishness.

That's a lot like BS kids to Visi. There are feeders.

Not anymore. BS was shut out this year.

Huh? BS is sending somewhere between 9-13 girls to visit this year.

Yep. Top students are choosing GC for all it offers. The smaller schools just can't compete.

That's what I saw at the accepted student events... sheesh.

18 of 125 is a small portion. Stop blabbering about it. And just because they were accepted doesn't mean they are going to attend. I know a few who aren't accepting.

That's all fine. I'm just saying BS is and does sent a big group of girls to visi. Doesn't mean it will affect the class - it just is.

400 per grade or 1200 total.

Last time I checked GC was 9th -12th. 400*4=1600. Anyhow 400 is too high. Enrollment is about 325-350 each graduating class.

Elitism. Parents get to choose their kid’s cohort when they shop private schools. In public, you’re stuck with all kinds of people.

There are lots of large prep schools. Heck, Andover and Exeter are both over 1000 students. Size doesn’t dictate much.
