Who brought the coke to the WH?

It’s pretty obvious it was either placed there by a member of the secret service (who are notoriously likely to be trumpers) or by some other republican operative(s).

It’s either of those two scenarios. Pick one.

I think it's unlikely to be Secret Service. They've been incredibly unprofessional over the years, but I don't they're quite that bad. If it is them, however, the entire agency needs to be disbanded and let go. Enough is enough. It's been a trashy place for decades. Use military instead.

I suspect it's one of two possibilities: Panicky tourist from the middle of nowhere who doesn't realize security is actually a thing in DC. Saw that they needed to check in a cell phone, get wanded, and then they realized that bringing coke into the White House was a terrible mistake and tried to discard it.

Or it's one of these Project Veritas or other right wing social media types trying to create a fuss

In any event, everything is recorded at the White House. I'm sure they already know. Pretty confident it didn't fall out of Hunter Biden's pocket or Kamala Harris' purse.

You cannot be serious. "We can all agree"? How so? Maybe take off your permanently affixed tinfoil hat and try using Occam's Razor for a change of pace. A visitor stupidly left their cocaine there.

I suspect that it was planted ….

This sort of bothers me:

White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters: "Where this was discovered is a heavily traveled area where many ... West Wing visitors come through."

This is total spin. There is no where in the WH that is “heavily” traveled by “many” anymore. She is trying to make it sound like it’s the Air and Space museum. Even if it’s where the visitors come through, the numbers are still relatively small and the security is still great.

Anyone can jump the fence and enter the building. It happens all the time. Secret Service is too business with hookers, drugs, living rent free, etc to worry about security. Most likely a secret service agent. I hear they place little packages all over the place like squirrels.

The WH is the most secured place in the US. Hundreds of cameras, comprehensive screening and everyone on campus is known to the Secret Service. Yet the media is already circling the wagon with "we will never know"...

Why do you need to know who brought it in? I mean, let's be honest here, RWNJs only care about this story because they are trying to link it to HB. If the person who brought in the coke is identified and it's NOT HB, you guys simply won't believe it. If the investigation comes up short and a suspect is not found, you'll say it's because they discovered it was HB and are covering it up. In the meanwhile, you'll keep pushing the HB angle with zero proof--because facts don't matter to you.

Video cameras aren't going to catch a dime bag falling out of someone's pocket as they fumble for their iphone.

BS

The camera showing the bag played backwards to the moment it isn’t there anymore. Document the people on camera

Exactly. Of course they know.

It’s probably some foolish, overly worked staffer.

I’m confident that whoever it was (staffer, tourist, secret service officer) is already known, but no one wants to feed the hype.

Not so bad? You have probably forgotten about all the things the Secret Service was caught with.

Andrew Wortman actually has NO IDEA who left the cocaine there.
None.

No one knows who left it there. Anyone who isn’t an idiot knows that Hunter Biden wasn’t on a public White House tour.

+1 and, anyone who isn't an idiot also knows Hunter Biden wouldn't be made to surrender his phone when he enters the White House.

The MAGA desperation around here reeks.

You should see the Daily Mail behaving like this is the news of the century.

It's a pretty big story.
I dare say that had this been the Trump WH, this thread would already be 10 pages long, the first thread on this topic would not have been deleted, and the speculation about who left it there would be welcomed.

It’s actually NOT a pretty big story.

It is in fact a NOTHING story.

Stop trying to make fetch happen, dear.

It’s a big story. They cleared the WH out over this.

They cleared the White House because of the possibility that it was anthrax. Since it’s not anthrax, it’s not a big story.

You are insane. It’s a controlled substance classified as a schedule 2 drug under the law. It doesn’t turn up at the WH everyday.

Yes it does, it just doesn't get discovered and is instead used.

When has the public been made aware of the results of any of the Secret Service’s many internal investigations? They are corrupt Keystone Cops. Keep the FBI and dissolve the Secret Service. The bundle was probably stuck to one of their shoes from partying the night before.
