So what's the latest update/revision on where the drugs were found? Last I'd heard it was discovered in the area where visitors leave their cell phones.

I suppose from an allocation of resources standpoint, it would make sense to pursue a terrorist with all you’ve got, compared to a small quantity of drugs that even the local police would likely ignore after initial leads didn’t pan out.

We are “brushing this off as a Nothingburger” because it makes no difference as to who left a small quantity of drugs in a cubby.

If anything, this situation highlights a lapse in facility security, or proves the possibility that those in charge of securing the WH may be trying to discredit the Biden Administration.

The question is: better for whom? The drugs were found and reported. The location where the drugs were found was reported simultaneously. Then, the location was changed. It is not like a newly discovered evidence, we knew from the beginning where it was found. It is not like they have to use numerous investigative techniques to find out a more precise location. Are you saying the SS so incompetent that they could not identify where exactly they retrieved the drugs from?
