+1. I don't understand Bora Bora or Maldives and I've been to both. Unless you are seriously into scuba diving and oceanography, It's just to say you went there. |

Bora Bora is just honeymooners. Mo'orea would be better, but not for a five day trip. Tahiti is not worth it as a destination. But if you do have the time and you're feeling a little more adventurous, would recommend the Aranui to the Tuamotus and the Marquesas. I'm sure kids would enjoy it. But that's three weeks minimum. Worth it though
For vacations with children, Fiji is much better. Also Vanuatu But none of these destinations are doable in five days. Pointless waste of money. Go to the Caribbean instead |
No serious diver would consider Bora a dive destination…they all head for Rangiroa and other island chains in French Polynesia. |

It is a trip even after your flight to the capital of French Polynesia ends. You land in Papeete, which is not nearly as idyllic as Bora Bora.
It is not a good choice for a four year old. Too expensive and complicated to visit. Wait. |
This. Drowning is the leading cause if death for 1-5 year olds. |
You are wrong. Kid’s brains start to die in minute underwater. That can happen while a parents goes to the bathroom. |
