I enjoyed the thread where an OP was looking for tips on how to convince her DH not to take a new job he wanted at a startup because they only had $5m in the bank as a cushion if it didn't work out.

I also like the threads where people with mid- or high-six figure incomes say they can't afford to pay someone to clean their house or do their yard work.

+1 Spot on. I’m a firm believer in stealth wealth. My neighbors, friends, and relatives would never know our net worth is north of 8 figures. We live relatively modestly but we do live it up when away from our main home and travel extensively while we are still young (upper 40s) and around kids’ schedules. We can do our jobs from anywhere.
