John Oliver recently commented on the smell of Subway - it's the smell that says "What if bread could fart?"

That describes it perfectly.

I always get the green goddess salad. It’s pretty good for being fast casual.

I don't think it has a smell but I believe you because I can't eat at Subway due to the smell. My DD loves the mac & cheese at Panera, and it's a dependable choice on road trips/in unfamiliar areas. We just went last weekend after a soccer game an hour away.

LOL - I confess to also hating the scent of Subway bread.

To mask out the taste of the rest of the slop.

Why would you not just ask them to take the onions off if you don't like them?

I like their Veggie sandwich and just get it without the onions. It's so easy in the app.

I also like their tuna salad, which I don't love at all places. Panera's is decent.

I think their coffee is terrible. I will eat a green goddess salad if there is NOTHING else available, but I feel it has really gone downhill

Not pickled. Raw are default toppings on every sandwich and salad.

But it used to be much fresher and more natural tasting. A couple of times, I've gotten the tiniest amount of filling on a sandwich, or a cardboard-tasting bagel.

I remember going there 20 years ago and the food was really good. Now it’s much worse. Everything seems pre-made like you could get it from a 7-11.

I think their coffee is too acidic and too caffeinated.
