Taylor Swift tickets

The trip to Asia is what makes it a tough call for me. That, plus sleepaway, suggests she knows or will soon know how well-off you are and that you can easily afford this show.

I always knew my parents literally couldn’t splurge so there was no resentment. I also had several unforgettable examples of when they could and did fulfill my dreams with just a bit of stretching.

As a side note I think the Disney poster has the right idea. People spend thousands on entry to the parks and all the extras and guides. A concert experience could be just as memorable —especially Taylor for a teen. Taylor is a relatable feminist icon for how she handles the press, her legal issues, her own parents and her body image.

Going to Philly on Friday. One DD has a ticket - one does not. Will go to the stadium and see if the tickets drop in price. If they do, we will buy. If they don't - DD2 and I will have a nice dinner and an adventure. Have a free place to stay in Philly so figured we would go. Based on Nashville, expect to spend $600 on crappy seats.

I just got back on Monday from the Nashville show. I bought tickets for night 1 during the presale. While outside the stadium on Friday, I started hearing rumblings of Ticketmaster releasing tickets - lots of tickets - at face value. I logged on and was #34 in the queue.

I had zero plans to buy any other tickets when I arrived in Nashville, but $49 for floor seats? Come on! So Saturday afternoon I kept a watch on Ticketmaster and the same thing happened - they released a lot of tickets for face value and I was able to snag one.

People were still able to snag tickets after Taylor came on, too. Someone on N1 joined my row who got a ticket at around 8:15.

I also watched on the resale platforms and the prices really dropped closer to start time and after she came on stage. I saw tickets go from $2k each to $125 at around 8:30.

I think it would be hard to travel to a venue with a kid who may not fully grasp that there's a BIG chance you couldn't secure drop tickets.

I will say, I've been to lots of concerts from the time I was 15 (I'm ) and both of those shows are now in my top 5. I'd never been to a Taylor Swift show before so I can't compare it to past shows, but holy crap does she put on a performance!

My top performances I've seen:
1. Adele back when the ticket was $15 right after Chasing Pavements came out
2. Elton John at MSG
3. Taylor Swift night 1
4. Spice Girls - my first concert ever, ha
5. Taylor Swift night 2

You and your other DD can have a blast outside of the stadium. It was packed outside of Nissan Stadium in Nashville with people who didn't get tickets. My hotel was a half mile away from the stadium and I could hear Saturday night's show wonderfully! My DD and her friend walked back to listen to the show on Saturday night with thousands of others outside of the stadium. My old body couldn't take another night!

I will also add - my night 1 tickets were in the 200 club level are and the view was amazing!

I scored $49 floor seats for the night 2 Saturday show on the floor near the diamond and they were just ok to me. I'm only 5'2 so it was really hard to see much when she wasn't RIGHT there.

My SIL and nieces had 300 level seats for night 3 and 4-hour rain delay aside, the photos of their views are pretty spectacular, too.

I saw lots of tix for Nashville popping up during the rain delay. I guess some people can not just wait out the storms.

Thanks for this. My parents live near an upcoming TS venue. I think we’ll plan to visit and see if we can snag last minute tix. What time does she usually appear on stage?

DP. She goes on a little before 8 and the show ends a bit after 11.

I’m also worried about the logistics of even getting there. There’s no public transit to Meadowlands and parking is sure to be a nightmare, no?? These tailgate style parties happening in parking lots don’t seem feasible in such a big stadium but then I try to avoid huge crowds like this and hate being stuck in traffic.

She goes on at 8 and our night 1 show ended at around 11:15ish. But I heard she went on 10 minutes early for one of the shows.

There was about a 15 minute break between when the last opener finished and when she came on. They played random music throughout the stadium and then you can tell when it got closer in time because two things happen: 1) Taylor gets wheeled out inside of a cleaning cart, which the fans now know, and they go crazy screaming when it happens and 2) after that, a countdown clock appears on the large jumbotron screen with how many minutes until she'll take the stage.

I think all stadiums do it, but when the countdown clock started, it was also displayed on the smaller TVs on the concourse so those in line knew how much time they had.

I live in Pittsburgh and wish I had tried to secure tickets that I could have sold sold now. . It would have been a better investment than my CD rate.

That said, I listen to a blogger who went to the Houston show. Parking, lineups and just getting to the stadium was nuts. Go really early.

We are going to Philly. I paid $800 each. It’s by far the most I’ve ever spent a concert ticket and I’ve been to 100’s of concerts. Someone mentioned to keep an eye on the prices of the Philly tix.I agree. If you see those prices come down in the days before or day of, you will likely see the same in NJ and in MA.

The train literally pulls into Meadowland parking lot. I taken it dozens of times to Jets games

Is Stubhub putting insane fees on the resales? I'm seeing tickets near mine for Pittsburgh that are 10x what I paid. That's insane!
