He had to go all in on this drug/rehab material to redeem himself. I get that. He made it funny. But it’s not his best act.

I did LOL in several spots. But it’s definitely not a show you can rewatch and there are tons of stories that drag without a laugh.

Im curious who else was at his intervention beyond the 3 he mentioned.

Feel the exact same way. I LOVE Mulaney, but this one has low re-watch value bc the funny thing is just the surprises of what happened.

His earlier specials had brilliant jokes he developed based on many things - not just his recent life experience.

It was still better than 99% of stand up…bc stand up is hard. But way below his earlier stuff
