Costco travel

We used for our trip to Mexico last year and it was a great deal, no issues with the booking and the airport transfers made it easy too. It doesn't work for all trips, but I would definitely recommend checking it out.

They have a good presence for locales where you need a transfer from airport to resort / also excursions.

There are other companies that do this (Apple vacations, who I hate). Costco has been great a couple of times. (The best desk on resort, the best employees assigned, compared to other desks there)

I used twice for full trips, once for Hawaii and once to go to Utah to ski. Both times I booked flights, hotels, rental care through them. I also always use them for car rentals.

+1. I’m still trying to figure out what that PP meant: who exactly could anyone call in late March 2020??

You can go read the FB pages for one about the insane hold times.

When it hit, I placed one call to my travel agent who took care of everything. Now he is so busy, he isn’t taking on any new clients at all.

One of the problems before was you couldn't cancel online. Cancellations had to be over the phone. Now you can cancel online yourself, no phone call.

I’ve never had any luck using their website to browse European travel. I always get an error message - because it forces me to select dates and then it won’t let me continue- so I give up.

Any advice?

Depends.
We use airline miles and hotel points, but we've also used Costco for things like rental car and Disney.

Best pricing on rental cars around.

I use it for rental cars a lot. I also used it once for a cruise. We got a good deal, costco gift cards, and some perks on board, like lunch at one of the specialty restaurants.

We used them for a Disney Cruise right before we had a big move. It was great! We got a Costco card for $1,200 and had a great time on the cruise. Zero issues.
