Do you tip house cleaners each time they come?

Is there anyone who would actually do this -propose paying more?! I can't wrap my head around that. I run a business, and I keep my rates competitive. I'd love it if someone offered me more money without being invoiced.

I offered to pay our cleaner more when we got dogs. I'm not going to take advantage of the fact that she might not be well-educated or business savvy.
