I actually think it's great that as a kids show it also shows the adults lives. In the way kids perceive it. The reality is that most of are not like Mom and Dad Tiger, we're a lot more like the parents in Bluey, and it's good for kids to see adults as humans too.

Is Daniel Tiger an American show? Asking because it just so happens that when a brilliant show comes along that just shows real life and all the little things…and bonus if it’s also funny…. it’s never American.

It is American but it’s too saccharine for me

Some episodes give lessons, but not in a super preachy way. Some are just plain fun and watching the girls play hilarious games with their dad, and you can't help but laugh. And some just hit you right in the feels - I've watched it on numerous occassions without my kids because I knew I would start crying.

Just wanted to appreciate this wonderful show. If you haven't seen it, I encourage you to. My kids are definately not the target age range but love it all the same. It's really just about kids being kids.

Yes, a gem from Australia!

If you like Australian shows that are inclusive and sweet but not preachy, try Little Lunch. More for elementary school aged kids (but also entertaining for adults). Think it's on Netflix.

I heard bluey was created to be a parenting class for dads on how to interact with their kids.

My 4 and 5yo love it. They find it hilarious. It’s my favorite kid show too

I think it’s fine for toddlers. My DC started watching it around 2.5/3 and loves it. And each episode is 6-7 minutes long, so very easy to limit screen time.
