(Love the octonauts, though. Creature report! Creature report!)

Seek help.

Seriously, what? Sometimes I feel like Bluey is meant for adults. Octonauts....not so much

Your kids are probably too young - wait until they are 6+ and they start getting the jokes. My 7 and 9 year olds think Bluey is HILARIOUS. I love to watch it with them.

i agree with you. my kid loves all those adventure cartoons where a team works together to solve a problem (chico bon bon, numberblocks, justin time, etc).

Does anyone else find the songs on storybots incredibly catchy?

Again - your kids are still toddlers, too young for Bluey - I think the sweet spot is probably 6-7 year old girls

Smooochykiss! Magic statue! These are favorites in our house. We all watch, kids are 4 and 6 and find it hilarious. We only discovered it this year. I've never met someone who didn't love it after watching an episode.

Some episodes give lessons, but not in a super preachy way. Some are just plain fun and watching the girls play hilarious games with their dad, and you can't help but laugh. And some just hit you right in the feels - I've watched it on numerous occassions without my kids because I knew I would start crying.

Just wanted to appreciate this wonderful show. If you haven't seen it, I encourage you to. My kids are definately not the target age range but love it all the same. It's really just about kids being kids.

How does it stack up against Mr. Rogers - the all time pinnacle of children's programming?

Mr. Rogers? Seriously? Besides the ten seconds of fish tank, worst show ever made.

I have 3yo and 6yo DDs. We love Bluey...even my DH!

Those two episodes bring tears to my eyes every time! The Holst piece in Sleepytime is one of my favorites. I also love Camping!

I sobbed during sleepy time. My kids enjoy blues but some episodes are a little emotional.

Where have you all been? It’s been on for years

It has only been in the U.S. for about three years. We discovered it at the beginning of the pandemic when it launched here.

The episode where they go to the pool is one of my favorites as a mom. Everyone is so impatient to get there they pack nothing. The consequences are lol funny. There are several deep and several really silly episodes. Sometimes they manage both in the same episode.

I actually think it's great that as a kids show it also shows the adults lives. In the way kids perceive it. The reality is that most of are not like Mom and Dad Tiger, we're a lot more like the parents in Bluey, and it's good for kids to see adults as humans too.

Is Daniel Tiger an American show? Asking because it just so happens that when a brilliant show comes along that just shows real life and all the little things…and bonus if it’s also funny…. it’s never American.

Agree. I’ve got the same ages. They love it. Mine are not interested in Paw Patrol, Dantiel, and Mickey anymore. Those shows are more for the preschool set.

My 6 year old son loves Bluey. Great for the whole family. Total gem.

He used to love Paw Patrol. That had great staying power from age 2 to 5
