| What do you mean by lower their standards? These are children you are talking about! Get a life and stop picking on Lowell. I think enrollment is down at all the "second, third, twentieth" tier schools because of the economy and how people are so hung up on titles and prestige in this city. If their kid didn't get in Sidwell or Maret they just don't know if their money is well spent on a no name school. Sorry to be honest, but I have heard several parents discuss this topic of "brand named" schools. |
| The McLean kindergarten class is either full or very close this year. I don't think they are hurting at all. |
| Mclean is hurting in certain grades. 1st grade is not full and 4th grade is down by a quite a few. |
