The new FCPS superintendent started in July 1, 2022. This data is from the Class of 2022, which ended in June, so it’s from her predecessor, who was the acting super and is now the deputy. She hasn’t had her first full graduating class yet. Even if she did, the data holds steady and is actually better than MCPS. What’s your point?

I loved her. She saw the mess MCPS was becoming, saw that McKnight probably didn’t think of her favorably (for whatever reason she’s always had her own inner circle), and decided to become an advisor to a superintendent in a calm county politically while protecting her future. What a great job of playing the game and rightfully focusing on your own ambitions while doing right by kids.

Sirgo will be a superintendent within the next 5-7 years. Definitely watching out for her

They’ll probably find an interim person who’s either in central office already or is retired. Then there’ll be a comprehensive search by July 1st for an existing principal, etc. How do you know Jones got it?

I believe she’s the acting. I don’t think she got the permanent spot at least not yet. It’s listed on careers.
