Private school bumper stickers

We put other school’s stickers on and yell at people in the neighborhood.

I admit that I get excited when I see a fellow parent in random traffic. That said, I don't have a magnet on my car because they don't work on either of our cars.

But if I could get the magnet to work, I'd put it on.

+1 The only sticker I have on my car is from the oil change service.

The school charges even for the air we breath on campus. Why should we advertise the school for free?

No. Don’t want it to mess up my car paint.

My kids go to different high schools. One really wanted to put a decal on my car. So after a few months, I put that decal on the window and felt I had to put the other high school on as well. Not really a big deal to me, but it seemed to be a big deal to one of my kids that really LOVES his school.

Yes- I have stickers for both DC schools. I still have them for their soccer, baseball and other activities also. As they come off they don’t get replaced. I have no issue advertising for great organizations.

Your point?

It looks ridiculous

Do you have a sticker for your kid’s school on your car?

Which school and why or why not?

We do because our children wanted to; we thought it was so naff to be almost subversive.
So it’s an ironic gesture.

Maybe they are very proud? Maybe they get FA?

Which is lost on everyone. Next.

Maybe you've seen my driving back and forth to NASA Goddard.

OMG - this is so funny 😂

I’m dying at the people that claim they don’t put them on because they don’t want to be targeted as a victim of a crime. Like a car jacker is going to distinguish between the Maserati or Mercedes with the Sidwell sticker over the one without .

I’m safe in my Honda no matter what “elite” institution is advertised on the back of my car.

I drive like a maniac and don’t want to have school logo displayed while being pulled over by police.

Maybe you shouldn’t drive like an a@@hole. You are going to kill someone.
