“Whataboutism” is something only nato people use as retorts that carry no weight for the majority of global population

Also I’ve noticed that white people in the us use “whataboutism” as a crutch more than poc’s

Ehhh, no. Whataboutism always was and still is a favorite Russian tactic. But then the west recognized it as a tactic and started using it right back at them. So now they complain about whataboutism whenever anyone but them uses it.

That's because you think the US never has to be called to account for what they did.

“They” did?
Were ya writting from, Boris?

Yes, they. I didn't vote for the invasion of Iraq. I feel zero accountability for it. The blame for the death and destruction must be laid at the feet of the government that plunged America into this criminal adventure. They don't put nations on trial; only nationla leaders who led them down the wrong path.

Is that a victory for Ukraine?

That's the sad part.

If the West didn't interfere a year ago in Istanbul, the war would be over by now.

So basically we have Ukrainian civilization survival vs. Putin’s psychopathic survival. Who will blink first?

I think someone on Putin’s coterie will off the little man.

LOL if that happens you may regret it - there is no reason to believe that the next guy will be an improvement.

Russia. We love Russia,
Great country. Tough country,
One of the toughest.
With the great Vlad Putin.

He’s so great. We love Vlad.
He loves freedom and wants to bring it to the people of Ukrainia.
And they won’t let him. They won’t let him.
Which is sad. So sad.

So we’ll have to see what happens.

LOL and then he also said Ukraine needs a hundred kazillion dollars to fight this pathetic army of old men with no weapons because otherwise they'd be scaling the Eiffel Tower tomorrow.

Logic is out of fashion.

Good point

Maybe you missed todays news, where Poland reports Russia turned off oil in the pipeline through Poland?

Or maybe you forgot how Russia tried to freeze Western Europe to death by withholding natural gas all winter?

Now let’s talk about the constant nuclear threats and extortion.

If the Russian army is as bad as you say, why do Ukrainians need billions of dollars and massive military aid to fight it? And why should the rest of Europe be told to fear them?

Russia has 3,300 active tanks and another 8-10k in storage. Russia has 1.5 million active duty and 2.2 in reserves. The US contributes the most to NATO with 1.3 million active duty, next is Turkey 446k, France 207k, Germany 188k, etc. Germany has 320 tanks. Europe could not stop Russia without the US.

Reality has shown that much of Russia's equipment in storage was left unmaintained, is rusted out, was stripped for parts, et cetera. Generally untenable. As for Russia's active duty and reserve troops, if that were true then why are they sending conscripts with minimal training to the front?

The Russia of 2020 is nowhere near the Soviet Union of 1980 in terms of operational capacity. Not even remotely.

It's a rather damning indictment to have your $15 million dollar Pantsir systems failing and getting captured because the wheel bearings are seized or because the tires are dry rotted.

https://twitter.com/jan_forney/status/1499851864656990209

You know it's bad when your conscripts are being issued ancient, rusted AK-47s

https://twitter.com/JayinKyiv/status/1573630329058983937

or Mosin Nagant rifles from 1891 and WWII helmets

https://twitter.com/infussambas/status/1582364060108324865

$115 million dollar S-300 rocket system failures due to age and mishandling

https://twitter.com/DevanaUkraine/status/1627792618796027907

A lot of this is very likely due to Putin's oligarch friends holding the contracts to maintain and replenish supplies, but instead stealing the money for yet another yacht, condo in Dubai, etc.

And yet....the West is tying itself in knots trying to raise a kazillion dollars to fight this paper tiger. If they are so lame, why is it taking so long to defeat them?

One more time for those in the back....

Because even an untrained kid with mental issues and a rifle from WalMart needs a properly trained and equipped police force to take them down before they murder more innocents during a rampage.

Nonsense.

Pomegranate.

I don't understand this logic. The EU and the US issue a new round of sanctions on Russia practically every week, cutting off this and that, and freezing this, that and the other.

Yet Russia is supposed to be a good girl and continue honoring contracts and treaties. Like, what did you expect? The West froze half of Russia's hard currency reserves just because and they are supposed to turn the other cheek? OF COURSE they will try to flex with whatever they got. GTH with this stupid logic of "I'm allowed everything and you're a bad boy if you retaliate."

LOL you make it sound like there aren't corresponding losses on the Ukrainian side. The West hasn't figured out yet how to include fertile males in its aid packages but maybe one day!

Russia is welcome to return its army to within its own borders at any time. That includes giving the Crimea back to its rightful owner: Ukraine. Consider yourself invited.

If you don’t like the sanctions after returning home, we are fully open to negotiating the terms of Putin’s surrender to The Hague, and how much you owe in war reparations to Ukraine. Be reasonable. These terms are extremely fair, and will work in your favor in the long run.

All I can say is that Zelensky has a big mouth and is ungrateful as hell, and I hope he and Putin both get…. Retired.

I am the OP of this thread. I fully support the efforts of the United States, NATO, the EU, and many other countries, to help Ukraine free itself from Putin’s unlawful invasion and occupation.

Many of you have probably noticed the posts by our little Russian buddy.

It is his job to spread Kremlin propaganda:

https://web.archive.org/web/20150409021708/http://news.yahoo.com/trolling-putin-russias-information-war-explained-063716887.html

But even he knows, deep down, Putin will lose this war.
