What happens if I don't host playdate/birthday party

Anonymous
I found it very easy to host playdate and birthday parties, and preferred them to the grown up entertaining that I need to do now!

1- guest list is uncomplicated. You don't need to know the kids or the parents. Invite the whole class, neighborhood kids, friends of your children...in any or all combinations. It does not matter.

2- Food is uncomplicated. You only have to provide pizza, drinks and cake. Everything is store bought and there is no cooking involved. Kids with allergies usually bring their own food or don't attend. Mostly.

3- Entertainment is easy. Play some games, or be in a venue that has activities or hire an entertainer.

4- Supervision is easy too. Make the parents and siblings attend. I don't do drop off birthday parties. We are fairly wealthy and can afford to feed the parent and sibs. No problem.

5 -Goody bags is just a bunch of individual snacks from Costco.

6 - Venue is easy too. Your home, backyard, playground or any venue. In your house, minimal cleaning is needed. Just vacuum and ignore the mopping. No one cares.
