Baby named fun and what are your favorite baby names just for fun

I love the name Desmond. DH vetoed it and we're done having kids. Still kinda salty about never getting to use it!

Love Desmond and Desi as a nickname, plus I am a big Nationals fan and always loved Ian Desmond (who people called Desi) so I think it's a very DC name. I'd be salty too!

For girls I love: Wilhelmina, Sophie, Chloe, Jean, Rian, Elliott, and Blake.
For guys I love: Dalton, Boyd, Augustus, Brooks, Sebastian, Davis, Rhodes

I don't understand the Elliot train. Aren't there enough "Ellie" type names without using a very nerdy boy name?

There are three boy names on that list for girls.

Feel free to talk about the other two and stop policing what I want to talk about.

NP- That character is why I added Desmond to my name list! My DH also vetoed and I, too, am a little salty!

Desmond and Penny 4EVA. My DH and I still semi-jokingly call each other our "constants".

Valentina. Not a name my family could carry off. But love it all the same.

This name has personal significance for my DH and I so it was on our list, but same. Just too elaborate to work with our last names or our general vibe. I would consider it as a middle name for another girl though, if we could find a first it worked with.

Or even four if Jean is French for John.

I love Valentine for a boy! But likewise not something my family can carry off.

I actually have a soft spot of unisex/feminine names for boys, especially reclaiming the ones taken by girls: Ashley, Evelyn, Morgan, Tristan, the aforementioned Valentine, Alexander-nn-Sasha.

In college- there was a male Ashley and Kelly which I always liked. I like Kerry for a guy too.
