Better that than what Andrew's gotten up to.

How quaint that now seems when compared to recent Netflix/memoir drama/sellouts/muckraking. For that matter remember how “outraged” SOME people were when MM’s family tried to profit off of their association? Pot, kettle. Apple didn’t fall far from that tree.

Yeah, I don't like her tbh. She's a grifter, and you know she put up with Andrew's ways (and she definitely knew about ALL of his shady dealings, not just the sex trafficking fetish) just so that she could have a roof over her head and someone to pay the bills.

Honestly the Queen should've told Andrew that she'd cut his allowance unless he kicked Fergie out.

I don’t see her as a grifter. She married a Prince who turned out to be a pedophile, divorced him, keeping her mouth shut about what she almost certainly knew (how different that divorce looks now!) and secured a respectable place for her two daughters in the royal family until they themselves were married. It was normative for divorced mothers of princes and princesses to live on on the royal estate. Diana did it too.

From The Firm’s perspective, it’s better to have her nearby where they can keep tabs on her. So long as she keeps her head down and doesn’t cause drama, her and Andrew will be allowed to keep up their unorthodox arrangement and get their respective monthly allowances. They both have regular side-pieces that the UK media has agreed to not report on.

This is how dysfunctional The Firm really is.

While I certainly wouldn't describe that as functional, I don't think it's all that terrible of an idea for the/a royal family.

Fergie is not Diana, but certainly her every move was covered by the press. And it was only covered by the press because she married Andrew. I think everyone that marries in to the royal family is making an agreement to shed their private persona and therefore the royal family is stuck with that fact if the marriage goes south. I don't have a lot of sympathy for the royal family in this regard. You broke it, you bought it.

+1

And now with Beatrice and Eugenie married, she can afford to make herself look good. She was VERY upset many times when she wasn't invited to weddings, or because she couldn't go the family's Christmas lunch with her daughters. Very thirsty clout-chaser, that Fergie.

Please, there's nothing "quaint" about Prince Andrew r*ping an enslaved teenage girl. Although maybe you were making a comparison to Fergie's toe sucking and going bankrupt...which yeah I agree with you, that I guess seems meh in hindsight. I guess it's the freshness of scandal that gives it a nice savory flavor lol.

Honestly, I'd still take Fergie quietly writing trashy romance novels in her corner over Charles' leathery wh*re wearing a crown in a few months. The British press fawn over Camilla now. Back in the day they were way more honest about her.

Actually her Mills and Boon historical fiction novel did rather well in Britain and many of her children’s books have 4 star ratings or more on Good Reads (not the budgie series though). I have seen many good books do worse on GoodReads. Her autobiographical books were less well received.

People do appear to be buying her books.

Fergie has chutzpah, character and grit . And I like her slightly odd taste in colorful attire and hats.

It shows you have chutzpah if you cohabitate with a known pedo in order to live rent-free in a mansion?

Anyway, I found out that although Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson divorced Prince Pedo in 1992, she's been living with him in his historic mansion all these years. They still have tea together and claim they are...a happy divorced couple living under the same roof. OKAY.

So I found her Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/sarahferguson15) and she reviews Mills & Boon books, which is kind of hilarious. And she's been writing historical romance novels, where a lady gets romanced by a nobleman. I'm just imagining Fergie lobbing one of the Mills & Boon books at her ex-husband and saying, "Shall we give it another go?" Like, how does she read these scenes and not cackle, knowing how her life turned out?

Anyone read her published romances?

Anyway, other than the weird Mills & Boon thing, she seems like a calm and polite 61-year old lady. Gives refugees a platform, lives quietly, doesn't behave like Markle. So that's nice.

This is going to end up locked like all the others so I won't hold back:

-Nice try at masking your obsession with hating Megan Markle behind a supposed interest in Sarah Ferguson. Byeeeee.

What? EVERYONE is sick of seeing She Who Shall Not Be Named and her hysterical husband plastered all over the media. Stop gaslighting us.

Even a random company complained about it: https://twitter.com/RampCapitalLLC/status/1611795079760322561?

Well, the dragon duchess got even by announcing her first pregnancy at Eugenie's wedding.

She lives with a man photographed at a pimp’s front door saying goodbye to a teenager in the early morning….

y'all do you think Fergie was friends with Ghislaine Maxwell? Because that would be wild.
