My kid (early 20s now) only wore sports bras from late ES until 10th or 11th when they found binders. Makes a huge difference for them.

You clearly don’t know white girls if you don’t realize they start young too.

It’s been studied and published for a long time that black and brown girls DO start puberty earlier than their white counterparts. There is also an area of research about “adultification bias” for black girls. Just because your white child or friend started early doesn’t change the SCIENCE.

The average difference in pubertal timing between black and white girls is around half a year. That’s not terribly significant and certainly doesn’t support the notion that black girls start young and white girls don’t.
