I put off trying it cause I'm always skeptical about celebrity brands but so far, so good!

Honestly, I've purchased a few expensive mascaras at Sephora and hated every one.

Maybelline Snapscara tubing mascara is my absolute favorite. Adds a little length as a tubing mascara, doesn't clump, goes on smoothly.

anyone tried Beautycounters' mascara?

I really like L’Oréal Bambi lash- it works and no flaking.

I have tried so many at every price. I keep coming back to Maybelline Great Lash in black-brown.

It’s funny how many people hate Thrive. I have loved it, simply because it’s so easy to remove. And never flakes on me. Maybe I got lucky? But it doesn’t make my eyes stand out too much. Going to try Buxom based on some PPs. I’ve used L’Oréal voluminous in the past and although it was great, it was too hard to remove. I’m much more aware of the delicate skin around my eyes now that I’m in my 40s.

No, I don't buy from MLMs.

I generally wear luxury brand makeup but swear by great lash (maybelline) mascara.

Same. I'm kind of fussy about my lash length (I use latisse, etc to keep them long) and although I like mascaras like They're Real, I only use tubing to minimize damage wear and tear. Victoria Beckham makes a mascara called Future Lash that has similar properties but isnt tubing and creates length without much volume (I use for daytime).

I've held off on trying tubing mascara because I worry that I'll pull out my eyelashes when trying to remove it. Is it REALLY that easy to remove?

I love tubing mascaras in part because I find them easier to remove. The trick is that you need to gently press a wet washcloth or cotton ball (dipped in eye maker remove or micellar water) against your eyelashes for a few seconds. Once the lashes are wet, the tubes basically slide right off. If you try to remove the mascara without moistening them first, the tubes will tug on your lashes, so don't do that.

FWIW, I didn't like Thrive. I found it flaky like others have said. Which is weird, because that's generally one of the benefits of tubing mascara; because it keeps the "tube" shape on your lashes, it doesn't flake.

I only ever used Clinique Naturally Glossy because I hate clumps but they stopped making it.

It's still supporting an MLM, which I don't do.
