best mascara

My go to was Lancome's oscillating mascara and it's been discontinued. Tried Thrive - too flakey, and others.
Any great mascara for length?

I used to use Lancôme religiously like you OP, but several years ago I tried Buxom for whatever reason and will never go back. No flakes, nice volume and length. Looks like it’s on sale at Ulta at the moment. Hope this helps!

For length, L’Oréal Telescopic. Generally, L’Oréal Voluminous has been my go to for years. But I also tend to layer mascaras.

I have major issues with smudging/flaking and Kevyn Aucoin's The Volume Mascara stays on with no issues for me.

I love thrive but its pricey. The dupe for it is l'oreal double extend so avoid that too if you hate it.

I agree, I bought it because so many people recommended it and it was so awful that I returned it.

I really like Benefit mascaras - I used to use Roller Lash, but lately I have been using Maybelline Full and Soft.

+1 I don't wear mascara a lot but when I do it's this. No clumping, defines and lengthens, it's great.

Estée Lauder’s Little black primer

Technically it is a primer, but can worn alone. It is a multitasker. Doesn’t smudge, flake, or rub off.

1) Wear alone for great length and darkening. It is like a lash stain. Perfect for a natural day time look

2) Wear under another mascara for added volume

3) Wear as a top coat over another mascara to seal it and prevent smudging, flakes, running.

I LOVE it and wear it alone 99% of time. I have issues with mascara always smudging under my eyes, even the kinds that don’t on most people- maybe my eyelids are oily. But this doesn’t budge at all.
