Or not. Move on. |

I gotta say I think it’s Halloween. the only things I have to do are buy costumes off Amazon and walk around with my kids. DH buys the candy and passes it out. We don’t decorate.
I just think it’s really fun that we as a nation have decided that kids are going to dress up in costumes and walk up to strangers houses and get candy. It’s so exciting for the kids and I love seeing all their happy faces. All other holidays are so much freaking work. I do like the Christmas atmosphere, and I like Fourth of July and thanksgiving food, but it’s all such a pain. |
|
I LOVE Easter. Flowers are blooming, the candy is my favorite, it's fun but low expectation. Spring is a welcome reprieve from the winter doldrums. I like what it represents--change, renewal, fresh starts, hope, awakening. It's great whether you're religious or not IMO.
Least favorite--I dislike how commercial and gimme gimme Christmas has become. If Christmas were more simplified, focused on the lights, decorations, cookies, family and token gifts, and less about the gift grab I'd love it. I really dislike Valentine's Day though too. |

Least favorites/don’t care about are Halloween and 4th of July. I grew up in a religious household and Halloween wasn’t celebrated. Even though I’m not religious as an adult, it’s a day I still don’t care about. 4th of July because I am AA and have a meh view of the US.
Christmas is my favorite followed by thanksgiving. |
And people who follow Jesus are called..... |
| Passover. I was the youngest child and always got to ask the four questions during the seder. I have fond memories of my very old grandparents telling us stories and teaching us Hebrew prayers. |
|
Least favorite is Thanksgiving because my twin died on Thanksgiving.
Favorite is 4th of July. |
|
Favorite is Passover--I like the food and the meaning. I have good memories of seders from different times in my life.
Now that I'm married to someone who was raised Christian, I also like celebrating Christmas with my in-laws--they do it in a very calm way, and I think the story of Christmas is really beautiful and inspiring. Least favorite is New Year's Eve--I feel sad about the years passing by and I don't like going out and drinking. Not a huge fan of mother's day, either. |
| Least favorite: Juneteenth. It's divisive and it celebrates a state-level event (in Texas). |
| Best? Christmas!!!! 🎄🎄🎄🎄 nothing else is even close! |
|
Least favorite is Thanksgiving. I've rarely spent it with anyone's company that I truly enjoy. Though I get why people love it -- it's great when you do have the right company. I'm a fan of "Friendsgiving"
Honorable mention: Mother's Day Most favorite is Christmas. Wonderful family traditions and memories. I love the whole thing. Honorable mention: Day after Thanksgiving. Not really a holiday but it's always a real, true day off and then I have a whole weekend ahead to still look forward to. |

Least- Memorial Day. I never have anything good going on, or a vacation. I also don’t think people celebrating it is a good thing. It’s morphed into “it’s summer!” Holiday.
Most- Christmas. We celebrate the whole month. I love all holidays though |
Used to be my absolute favorite time of year, until my wonderful spouse died unexpectedly. Now, life is a chore. |
|
Christmas is my favorite holiday. I absolutely hate winter. Winter is my least favorite season; however, the Christmas season makes up for it. I love of the activities, traditions, events, food, carols, performances, community outreach, bonding with distance relatives, volunteering, etc. Christmas puts my soul and mind at ease. My family starts celebrating the Christmas season the Friday after Thanksgiving until Three Kings Day (Epiphany) in January. It's full of fun, sharing, giving, and culture traditions.
My least favorite is Independence Day (July 4th). I purposedly take trips outside of the country during this time to avoid it. |

Love Halloween and Christmas, pretty much equally.
Hate Thanksgiving. I can be, and am, thankful for my blessings all year. Eating too much heavy, not particularly good food that you’d never eat otherwise and then sitting around staring at extended family all day is highly overrated. |
